Intaglio Prints

The Intaglio Prints are graphic works in which the image is incised into a zinc plate and the incised line or sunken area holds the ink. To print an intaglio plate the inks are wiped into the recessed lines, the dampened paper squeezed into the plate’s ink-filled grooves with uniform very high pressure of a professional printing press. Once the paper and the plate have passed through the press, the result is revealed. The printing stages repeat for each copy needed. I do very limited print editions, maximum 15 copies, all executed by me individually from the first drawing to the final print.
