This significant work of my series Urban Jungle illustrates the fusion of human lifestyle and wildlife. It suggests the phenomenon of habitat loss of the many species of the world, which result from continuous human expansion. This piece aims to be playful and ironic by depicting a lion imitating some of our habits, even bad ones.
The artwork, however, underlines the widespread tendency to keep wild animals as pets. It may seem like a delicate and harmonious coexistence, but in reality, these animals are not suitable for living in our homes.
