This lithograph showcases the fusion of human lifestyle and wildlife. It is one of my artistic ways of showing the problem of habitat loss for the many species of the world, caused by deforestation and human expansion. But not only that, the work highlights the widespread tendency to own wild animals as pets. It may seem like a tender and harmonious coexistence, but the reality is that these animals are not suitable for living in our homes. The suffering of this royal cheetah is metaphorically represented by tears of blood: the feline does not like to play with human habits.
