This artwork in particular represents the many Crimson Rosellas scattering around in the Otway National Park, a temperate Rainforest of South Eastern Australia. The uncontaminated habitats to be protected are recurring subjects of my repertoire. I used some Australian red earth to create surface effects on the canvas. With this technique, the texture of the tree in the foreground is particularly rough and in relief.
