I chose the Arctic as the setting for this Killer Whale, or Orca, because I wanted to dedicate a work to this habitat, fundamental for all living beings. Perhaps not everyone knows that global warming causes temperatures in the Arctic zone to rise twice as fast as in the rest of the atmosphere. But it should not be forgotten that ice reflects light from the Sun, helping the Earth to retain less heat in the atmosphere, so it is very important to preserve it. The orca is a much-loved marine mammal and very intelligent. The hunting techniques of the killer whale and vocal behaviors are very sophisticated, and yet these animals are not considered a threat to humans.
