The dress is fully lined and closes with an invisible zipper and hook and eye closure. (Beaded trim on the neckline is a necklace/choker, not part of the dress pattern).
Suggested fabrics include: silk dupioni, taffeta, satin, and foil sparkle cotton. It is important to use a fabric that holds the pleats and fullness of the overskirt. The sheer yoke will need a stretch mesh for best results. You may wish to line the overskirt out of the same fashion fabric or choose a contrast for a different look. The bodice and under skirt can be lined with any poly or rayon lining.
