All Badass Tents are quick to set up, feature an aerodynamic low profile design to fit in your garage and not create extra wind noise or poor gas mileage while on the road. They are the lightest, thinnest hard top tents on the market today at 92 lbs. and 4” tall frame. Manufactured with a durable, high gloss coextruded plastic cover, that looks like an OEM paint job, mounted on a space-age extruded aluminum frame with no external latches or straps to give this an OEM showroom look and feel.

The Badass Tents’ Convoy RTT includes a full 4×6’ skyward moonroof, high-strength aluminum frame construction with large open view window design, for 360-degree views and an integrated awning. The Convoy’s ultra-slim profile design (4” tall + mounting brackets) will allow most vehicles to pull into residential garages and parking structures without having to remove the rooftop tent.*

Outstanding vehicle integration keeps BA Tent’s RTTs snug to the vehicle for better daily commuter performance and while in route to your off-road adventure. With it’s lower center of gravity and weight, you’ll never feel it while crawling over rocks and racing across the Baja Desert. The enhanced aesthetic is another Badass bonus that overlanders and campers alike value.

Preassembled rooftop tents come out of the box ready to install on your vehicle, using our included low mount cross bar kit, plan on 2hrs to get it up and running.

*Check clearance before entering home garage or parking structures. It’s not Badass to damage a vehicle, RTT or building.

** See batents.com/warrantee for limited warranty details. Long story short, we cover all the hard parts of the tent against manufacturing defect or damage, excluding any soft parts.  We don’t cover “operator error” or my dog did it, my rig rolled over, etc.

Comprehensive wilderness medicine reference
Format: Paperback
First off, this book should be supplement to actual in-person first aid training and course work. I only have my background in Boy Scouts and work required first aid/cpr/stop the bleed response to base this upon. But there is no substitute for competent in-person and hands on training, even if you have excellent books for reference. That said, this book does have a very thorough guide on most issues that could be faced in wilderness and emergency situations. The cross over for urban use, would be situations like a natural disaster that renders hospitals and EMS unavailable or over capacity. It's a very affordable book for all the information it contains, and is published by a reputable school. NOLS has been teaching outdoors skills since it was formed in the 1960s. If you can keep a level head and have decent reading comprehension, this book lays out diagnostic and treatment advice for many life threatening injuries and accidents. I'd recommend this book to anyone looking to expand and supplement their knowledge beyond basic first aid and CPR.

Had an older edition and bought the most current edition. Very well written.
Format: Paperback
Classic text. Written at the college level. Text treats each topic initially from point of what are the causes of this injury, and how to prevent it. Then it goes into what will need to happen with an occurrence. No pictures, but that's a good thing. There are many drawings which do a better job of highlighting what is important.

Great Reference
Format: Paperback
This is an excellent, concise book with easy-to-read excerpts and diagrams that we are keeping as a reference guide for our Search and Rescue Team, some of whom are Wilderness First Responders but sometimes need additional information.
